Saturday, November 18, 2023 - Medium ruby red in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & cranberries with floral overtones of roses & minerals, orange peel, spices, earthy, dried herbs, licorice & a hint of tar. Medium bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of red cherries, strawberries & tart cranberries with dried herbs, earthy, anise, minerals & spices. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well with decanting & airing but should develop further with additional aging.
