Monday, November 20, 2023 - An all-around, outstanding "second" from a first-rate producer. Hits all the right notes for the modern, Maremma-styled Bordeaux blend, with enough merlot (and oak!) to sweeten the more tannic Sangiovese and combine the best of both worlds. Flavorful, and medium bodied from start to finish, this is an easy drinker that pairs well with grilled meats or pasta bolognese. Great mid-week quaff @ $22 (Costco)
