Wednesday, April 1, 2015 - Started off with very delicate aromatics which needed some coaxing. tried in several stems and showed best out of a traditional PN glass. Green & yellow apple, green melon and green table grapes with hint of lime zest. ( no detectable oak notes) A flavor profile consistent with aromatics but with excellent verve and precision. Surprisingly crispy for it's age when considering it's Burgundian style although i will use that complimentary moniker with caution as this is very distinctive and has it's own style. With several hours this became even more mouth filling in texture and complexity but always maintaining it's precise focus. The flavors and mouth presence are the strong points of this wine. Very food friendly showing a polish and quality and definitely offering excellent value. I liked this quite a bit but will recommend consumption as i am a little concerned about the aromatic component continuing to recede with additional bottle time.
