Thursday, July 16, 2009 - Interesting prune juice coloration.
Cool and fresh nose with a blast of plum jelly, nice lavender notes, a touch of earthiness.
In the mouth, refreshing plum flavors with a finish of wet stone. A touch of tannin. After it was open a while, the wet stone really dominated the finish.
So food friendly and wonderfully refreshing. I'm diggin' on Cru Beaujolais for a summer red.
