Tuesday, May 17, 2022 - Monthly Tuesday group "The Dead Sparrow": Portugal (By BS): In the bouquet dark berries, sweet licorice, some bell pepper, vanilla and creamy lactic impressions. On the palate dark and red berries, green herbs, some mint, beautiful acidity and round tannin with a pleasant bite. Good length. Beautiful wine.

4/6/2023 10:43:00 AM - Interesting note. Tasted this wine today for the first time and was not impressed at all. No structure, slightly sweet and overpriced.

4/6/2023 2:24:00 PM - Thank you for your comment. To be honest; I don’t recall the wine and I don’t have any. I checked the tasting the wine was part of and I saw my scores were above average for me. Possibly I was a bit too enthusiast that particular evening. And you must know I never consider the price in my tasting notes. Cheers, Z.

4/9/2023 5:05:00 AM - I taste most of the wines blind, so I don’t know the price. Of course in my buying decisions I take the price in consideration.
