But I'm glad I was able to taste it today, because it is a good wine. It is maybe more approachable than the 2014 Cain Five tasted next to it. It has the blue fruit, pine tree, woodsy nose, but more red fruit and cherry on the palate. The tannins were big though, and this needed more steak. This has years ahead of it, and could be like the 2006, that is so good right now, but maybe at the precipice of dropping off.
