Monday, March 11, 2024 - 2 hour decant; paired with grilled pork chops and broccoli. Nose of oak, vanilla, and blackberries. Flavors are very rich, full of blackberry and cassis fruit, cigar box, sweet vanilla, with black tea tannins showing up on the lengthy finish. Outstanding wine at this young (for Quilceda Creek) age! Glad I have another to sit on for another 5+ years. Drink now with a couple hours of air - 2038+.
