Sunday, April 2, 2023 - Reticent nose with some interest via notes of dried apricot, golden currant, saffron, mushroom and hay. Still sweet on the palate which has enough acidity to keep it fresh. Long finish which brings marmalade and honeycomb. Decent but lacking some intensity. Drink now.

WSET notes:

Deep amber.

Medium intensity on the nose with dried apricot, golden currant, saffron, hay, nuts, and mushroom. Fully developed.

Medium plus intensity and sweet on the palate with some honeycomb and marmalade coming through. Medium plus acidity, medium alcohol, full body, low tannins, long finish.

Drink now. Not suitable for aging or further aging.
