Monday, March 30, 2009 - Expedition Wines American Homegrown: nose: sexy, berry driven nose with lovely tones of earth, all sorts of mixed berries, red cherries and bits of spice tones. This has great expression on it right now, but seems to be holding back ever so slightly and wants to really strut its stuff
taste: beautiful purity with a real sexy and silky feel with polished tones of earth, mixed berries and various spice tones. Lovely depth with real nice medium+ acidity
overall: a lovely expression of oregon pinot noir. There is a real nice purity to the wine that makes it really attractive and draws you in as you smell and drink it
