Thursday, November 10, 2022 - Opened in Hong Kong. Decanted and enjoyed over several hours.

Even at hour 6, this was still continuing to unfold. Beautiful nutty, popcorn, caramel notes coming through on the nose; rich but with a lovely balancing salinity to go with it. There were hints of sweetness - I even found myself enjoying notes of sweet Riesling or Botrytis - but it was always balanced. There were also flowers coming through, a light floral note that just added to the complexity. An absolutely gorgeous wine and it was a privilege to taste it.

Thanks to Mr. T for the incredible generosity - can't wait to return the favour.
