Saturday, July 16, 2022 - I like unannounced visits from friends, no need to prepare, enough wine and appetizers and so it was today. Third wine tonight. Definitely not too bad, but also not terrific juice. Red cherry is the queen of both fragrance and taste.
What else in smell - flowers, minerals, orange. In taste minerals and orange too.
Long spicy finish. Elegant tannins and acidity, but one would like more. I feel unsatisfied. No kick, no wow factor, no surprise.
Oh well, we had good time anyway.
