Friday, February 11, 2022 - Seventh red wine is the 2018 Howell Mountain Zinfandel from the estate and first Zinfandel this trip. Deep ruby red in appearance. Dark yet floral nose with white peppercorn and brambleberries. Medium tannins (6.5/10) and a medium plus body. Great structure and mouthfeel with some brambleberries, boysenberries and herbs. Long finish. Drink till 2030.
