Initially there are some hints of leather, tree moss with tons of baking spice, mocha characteristics that with time, meld into fudge, "soupy" port-like aromas and flavors. Long, spicy finish that becomes more warm/alcoholic with air time. I would not be shocked if this is not 100 percent Pinot Noir, nor from 1947.
