90 Points

Tuesday, February 20, 2024 - This pours light ruby in the glass. The nose is expressive and appealing with modest complexity. The predominantly fruit driven aromas show red cherry, pomegranite, grapefruit, peonies, pine needles, and a touch of new leather. The palate is light and elegant entering on the tart red fruit. The mid-palate shows medium minus tannin and medium plus acid with a touch fo grapefruit pith. The finish isn't terribly long but is appealing with tart grapefruit and cranberry closing things out. All in all this is a significantly better showing then when tasted a couple of years back. Seems a couple of years of age and lessened the reduction despite the screwcap. This is a tidy little wine that I find quite appealing.
