Friday, April 1, 2011 - Extraordinary Chardonnay with amazing core of ripe fruit combined with deft
balance and finesse. Complex ripe pear and vanilla bean accented by dashes
of nutmeg in the background. A silky, creamy texture gaines velocity heading
towards an expressive and cascading finish highlighted by creme brulee and
spice. Citrus and oak meld together nicely. Sensational now, but able to go
into next year with ease. Served with seared sesame scallops and spring
greens. Lisa's 50th birthday - Newbury Park.
