Friday, June 23, 2023 - Intensely mineral and rare Priorat white blend. Hard to say this wine is like “X” because it really is its own thing, and that makes it quite special. Acidity is surprisingly good for a hot dry region, but not going to appease the acid heads. There’s just so much rocky, slate-y goodness here from those licorella soils, I keep coming back into the glass. Who says soil doesn’t impact flavor? Bullshit. This wine is the clearest evidence you can find to debunk that argument.
