Wednesday, May 17, 2023 - Decanted 3 Hours. Upon decanting presented with big pleasing powerful aroma of dark fruits w/full rich garnet color. Initial pour of beautiful tart cherries, red licorice w/strong legs. Flavor opens to ripe plums, soft leather w/a well developed balanced finish. This was a most enjoyable wine and the longer it opened the more balanced the profile & flavor. Exceptional w/Caprese & Truffle ham appetizer & Lobster ravioli in brown butter Sauce . This is a food wine!
