Tuesday, March 28, 2023 - We are long-time friends of Vajra Langhe Rosso, but this bottle was the best in some time. That happens. Where some Vajra Langhe can have a coarseness, this bottle is refined. On the nose there's an alluring aroma that can only be Nebbiolo or Pinot Noir. Ripe fruit, commercial tea, and the flavors of the farm. The taste is complete, without gaps. The sole drawback is knowing that future bottles will likely not be quite as good as this one. Perhaps it's worth giving these 8-12 months in the cellar?
