90 Points

Tuesday, July 24, 2018 - In my memory a previous bottle was much better.. This immediately reminds me of a young Languedoc I often drink. Montlobre to be more precise. But that's merlot.... It's the use of oak.
A compliment when a wine from 2004 tastes like a much younger one. Maybe it still needs more time. And yes, with some air it got it's Rhône identity.
Still too much oaky nose. Sharp palate lacking balance. For this price I was expecting much more. Guigal puts all his effort in the La La's.
