Friday, December 4, 2020 - This bottle had great fill and good color and turned out to be in perfect shape. Gorgeous nose of sous bois, red berries, and a hint of old leather. Tons of acidity on the palate with integrated tannins, more old leather, underwood, and tart berries. Long finish. Couldn't hope for a better 44 year old wine with excellent balance between tertiary flavors and fruit.
