Friday, July 1, 2022 - Visit to Domaine Faiveley (Nuits St George, Burgundy, France): Medium(+) dark, touch of purple. Strawberry jam, especially when first opened; strawberry. Cranberry. Red and black plum? Rosehip. Stemmy. Still quite firm and stoney, under the riper jammy character. Initial jamminess disappears with air. Smoke, cedar, sweet spice -- cinnamon, vanilla. Lovely now(!!), but will be great in 10+ years time. €205.
