Saturday, November 25, 2017 - 1st of 3 magna (#466), decanted an hour, perfect cork and level - deepish garnet, little development; attractive, complex, pure nose, black fruit, some spice and coffee; fullish, long persistent and concentrated, quality fruit covering slightly dry tannin with purity of a top Burg, impressive now but with scope to develop further. Currently F+ (18)......nice laid back but precise wine making with much to admire!
