Tuesday, January 24, 2017 - Really needed an hour of air to come into itself. Then this lovely Riesling has now turned the corner into maturity with delicious flavors of petrol, decayed green apples and orange blossom. There is a bit of sweetness left here but it's almost in the backround and the acidity is still prevalent and keeps the wine succulent and fresh if rounder and softer than in the past. Finishes so complex and satisfying with smoky mineral notes. Even the regular bottling of these wines ages so beautifully and the price-to-quality ratio on these wines remains a silly bargain to this day.
