Monday, November 6, 2023 - 15% abv. O what has become of my beloved Charvin? This might as well be Spanish - it's garnet and clear, and smells like black and red raspberry jam, then figs in honey and wax tarts. Alcohol is + The palate is grippy, but this lacks grace, finesse and midpalate fruit. Tannins are chalky which is fine, but this is liqueur-like and hot.
