Saturday, May 6, 2023 - Medium-deep bright garnet in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of red cherries, strawberries & mulberries with overtones of floral & lovely spice notes, sage, loam/earthy/dusty, herbs, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of sweet red cherries, mulberries & tart cranberries with spices, minerals, herbs & a slight hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but has the structure & ripe fruit with good potential to continue developing with further aging.
