Sunday, March 23, 2014 - Very dark opaq. On day one the nose was oak-dominated with scents of volatility. On day 2 it was fantastic, with dark plums, chocolate, creamy oak, smoke, sweet spice and minerality. Full-bodied with textbook, velvety tannins, rich fruit, balancing (medium to high) acidity ana a medium-long aftertaste. Needs further cellaring or prolonged decanting to express itself. Hedonistic wine.
