Monday, January 15, 2024 - Impressive village level wine. Deep cherry on the nose, herbal leaning to a hint of eucalyptus, some cinnamon-ish spice as well, becoming a bit rose/floral with air. Smells velvety if that's possible. Lots of intrigue, both lively and deep, both juicy and serious, lots of layers centered on that dark cherry core. Gorgeous wine, especially with some time in the glass. Totally ready to go at this young age but I bet it will be better in a year or two or three (edit: and now I see similar notes below : ). Really delicious and great bang for the buck.

1/15/2024 3:42:00 PM - Coming back to say that took a bit of a weird turn after 2 hours open... nose still great, but kind of dull heaviness has emerged on the palate and the tannins are jutting out in a weird way.
