Friday, March 24, 2023 - Domaine Bouchard (K&L Wine Merchant - Redwood City): Nose of fresh and youthful red berries, almost like the neon red fruits I get from a central coast Grenache (I guess Jolly Ranchers is the next closest thing if "neon" makes no sense). Flowers and grass, and a really hidden funk. That subtlety of the funk makes it really nice.

The palate had softly bitter red fruits, bitter minerals, and dried rotting tree bark on a forest floor.
