89 Points

Sunday, November 9, 2014 - Medium ruby, purple tinge, narrow legs. Medium aromas of mature Bordeaux character; cherries, cedar, pepper and lead. Dry, medium(+) acidity, medium mature and ripe tannin, medium-medium(+) alcohol. Substantial mouthcladding texture. Medium flavors of cherries, kirsch, pepper and cedar. Long satisfying focussed finish with gripping tannin, medium body. Worked wonders with smoked beef brisket.
This wine matured wonderfully.
