Wednesday, May 13, 2009 - Popped & poured 1.5L bottle in decanter at Sotto Sotto over some excellent pasta dishes. Would have been paired better with a big, fat, juicy steak as this was a HUGE wine! Massive amounts of dark black fruit, slightly sweet, but well balanced. Nice acidity profile with hints of earth, spice & wood. Very pleasurable to drink & a unique experience as a 100% Petite Verdot wine. Was drinking well, but certainly would improve with a longer decant or more bottle age. Everyone at the table enjoyed it!
