Tuesday, December 21, 2010 - Fascinating wine, the first 100% Petit Verdot I have ever tasted. Dark color. Somewhat savage with lots of vitamin pill, blackberry and mineral. Incredibly racy and taut yet with such a laser of salty minerality and chalk overlaying the very berry character of the wine. Surprisingly suave and long on the finish. More acidic than tannic yet still quite firm and powerful.
