Friday, September 26, 2008 - Very impressive bottle of 100% Petit Verdot. Popped and poured. Extremely tight the first hour and a half, but then the wine really explodes. Huge nose of dark plumbs, anise and tabacco. The taste delivers exactly what you are smelling. Very dense stuff here. This is probably my favorite varietal bottling of petit verdot. Excellent, but hard to find more. Only 23 cases made.
