Sunday, March 12, 2023 - {bought on a lark, decanted immediately at restaurant, sound cork} Rich, dense wine that will need a few years, but as Cave d'Argent points out a good decant now works wonders. Cascading fruit, not a lot of garrigue, with time clear there is good structure for the fruit to hang on. Liqueur elements, very promising thought young. Was delicious with great cheeses and Wagyu beef bourgogne at Chez Boet (3 stars dinner!) in Naples, FL. With a little age might well be 93+ --- best bottle I have had from this producer. 14.5% alcohol well hidden by dense fruit, well balanced.
