Tuesday, June 27, 2023 - Wine Workshop: Barolo (Five Way Cellars, Paddington): Red cherry, again a tiny wood glue note, very slight sense of diluteness, slightly perfumed floral notes, touch of pot pourri. Medium plus intensity acidity, plenty of grippy drying tannins provides a textured burr, red cherry. John says a touch of Amaro and I see that with time. A little dilute again.
