Friday, November 22, 2013 - I was weaned on this some 25 years ago. Back then, I could buy this in Mag for less than a 750 is these days. It was the "house" champagne. These days I'm content with Prosecco...

Well let me say I settle for Prosecco. I bought a couple of these and if money's not an impediment to pleasure, then these give me much more pleasure then any of the Proseccos I have been writing about for the last year or so. Much better also than the various US methode champenoise wines that I also like quite a lot at 1/3 to 1/2 the cost. So, if you've got the bucks, this will please. Much more focused and finessed. Mousse is tight and fine.

Makes me want to try some of the other NV Brut favs from years past like Bollinger, Taittinger, Nicolas Feuillatte.
