Tuesday, August 8, 2023 - The fruit on the nose leans towards the white and green end of the spectrum, with pear and apple predominant. Notes of toasted grain and wet stone complement the fruit. The palate is ultra pure and precise, has depth without great weight, and it flows lightly without the viscosity of some richer styled white burg. Oh and the acidity is zingy too. Long finish reprises the fruit and adds a hint of marzipan as it expands on the mid palate. This wine is embryonic still. It provides a lot of interest now, but would likely benefit from decanting.
