Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour with purple rim. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of rich blackberries, boysenberries, dark plums, black cherries, dark leather, smoke, spices. Developing.
On the palate, dry, gentle high acidity, medium+ alcohol, fine high tannins with good grip, full body. Pronounced flavour intensity, with flavours of fresh dark leather, Syrah meatiness, blackberries, black cherries, dark plums, boysenberries, smoky tobacco, sweet spices. Very long finish.
Very very good quality. Lots of fruit sweetness but held together in a good package. Can see how this complex wine has ambitions to shoot for the stars. Making its way there. Just keeps getting better and better with the new vintages.
