Monday, January 4, 2016 - Notes after following for 6 hours open. The transparent ruby color is almost rose' in opacity. No noticeable bricking. Shy and reserved bouquet leading with roses and potpourri, accented with a bit of cinnamon tea, raspberry, and earth. Palate is weakening on the front end and it takes some major swishing to get the fruit to come out. Freshness is still there in the acidity department but I think the tannins are pretty much giving up, too. Compared to the bottle I had 8 months ago, I wouldn't expect improvement from here on out. 5+10+14+6= 85
