Wednesday, April 21, 2021 - Warm cinnamon nutmeg spice, dry old wood, rust, some red flowers, some tart red fruit (pomegranate to cranberry territory). Gains more rose powdery spice and sweet cherry with time in glass, and eventually truffley funk and juniper, and the rust blows off. Good Bourgogne in a pretty style and is drinking well at 20 years, with good complexity for its level. Needed an hour two to really show well. 7-/10
