My Last bottle. So beautiful on the nose and such a great qpr. Had a pretty intense mouth feel and perhaps a bit too much depth of flavor. Made me desire a bit more finesse.
Really enjoyable wine. Bummed I don’t have more.

Warm cinnamon nutmeg spice, dry old wood, rust, some red flowers, some tart red fruit (pomegranate to cranberry territory). Gains more rose powdery spice and sweet cherry with time in glass, and eventually truffley funk and juniper, and the rust blows off. Good Bourgogne in a pretty style and is drinking well at 20 years, with good complexity for its level. Needed an hour two to really show well. 7-/10

Really really enjoyed this. Color was rust (medium garnet) with smells of smoke earth and leather. Taste had a lovely balance of smoke fruit and tannins that evolved as you swirled. Really really interesting and I am glad I have two more.

I agree with the previous reviews. Doesn't smell or taste great in the beginning. Flavor of wet earth, tobacco, smoke/ash, dry cherry, leather with enough velvety tannins to keep it maintained. Aromas of rose, cherry, incense if you wait or smell your glass :)
