Saturday, September 30, 2023 - This is still really beautiful, if a bit shy at this stage in its evolution. Initially muted and closed off, after giving this 1.5 hours of air it really started to come together. Still very much primary there is a real brightness on your palate. Really nice mouthfeel and texture as well. I’m going to do my best to not open another one for a few years (3-5). Not that it won’t be delicious still between now and then but as you drink this you really do get a sense of excitement around what this wine can become.
