Saturday, September 9, 2023 - Could this be a Russell Bevan wine?! Of course it is. Deeply colored with dark blackberry notes. Some nice earthiness to accompany the wonderful fruit. Clearly Sonoma Coast fruit flavors on steroids. Dark black fruit with some savory herbs and some spice. Burgundians flee…a big hedonistic winner from the man who churns out unabashed wines that take you captive and wrestle you to the ground. Some chocolate notes emerge with time in the glass. Wow!
