Nice clear burgundy color, a bit light at the edge but no bricking.
A joyous nose, inviting bruit, blackberry and cherry.
Smooth, integrate, bold, some pepper to add zest, good length. Large wine but not flabby, nice depth of flavor. In my mind this gentleman is at his peak maturity (and maybe he even knows it).
