92 Points

Wednesday, February 23, 2022 - Tasted at Benvenuto Brunello in NYC. Dark, slightly translucent garnet color. Nose is somewhat muted with the oak/vanilla on display more than the red cherry and black raspberry fruit that comes through with more air. Medium acidity and Medium(+) tannin. Rich on the palate with good density and complexity showing cherry, chocolate, minerals and earth. Long finish. Balanced and age-worthy. Cellar it at least through its 10th birthday.
