Friday, August 28, 2015 - Throwndown in Madtown; 8/27/2015-8/29/2015 (Madison, WI): I don't get all of the really high scores for this. It is a very nice champers with bright gold color. Nose of orange peel, toast, pear, vanilla, and smoke. On the palate, pear, citrus peel and pith, ginger, and toast with a nice mineral streak. Decent lift on the finish. Might show better with more age.
