Thursday, November 29, 2007 - This wine is very confusing for me. It smells like a Cabernet and tastes more like a Carmenère. The color is very deep purple. The nose is currant and vanilla. The flavors and currant and slight vanilla undertone but there is the unmisakeable smokey flavor found in Carmenère. It's not bad just but also not what I would consider a top 100 wine.
