Saturday, July 16, 2022 - Flower Day - virtually no sign of development - still translucent garnet core out the the rim. Nose is damp loam, herbs, spice (caraway?), leather, dark fruit and light vanilla. On the palate very soft and smooth with mint, spice, red and black fruit with cassis on both the palate and long finish. Delightful and ready to go but with lots of life left - another 5 years at least. This is showing so youthful at 18 years of age.
