Wednesday, April 5, 2023 - A field blend of 40% Tempranillo, 40% Albillo and 20% other varieties, including Bobal and Garnacha, which spends a year and a half in old French oak.

Pouring a beautiful salmon pink with an expressive nose with layers of fresh raspberry, melon, and peach skins interwoven with fresh herbs and a perfect touch of struck match reduction. Textural, fresh and refined on the palate which brings blood orange and rhubarb accents. Lovely long finish. A serious, delicious wine. Can drink now but no rush.

WSET notes:

Medium salmon.

Pronounced on the nose with melon, rhubarb, herbs, peach, fresh raspberry, nutmeg and struck match. Youthful.

Pronounced and dry on the palate with blood orange coming through. High acidity, medium body, high alcohol, low tannins, long finish.

Can drink now but has potential for ageing.
