Interesting and different, still trying to figure out what to make of it. Not sure if it’s a PNP wine or it needs some air - the Tempranillo/Abillo Mayor blend is intriguing and how chilled this should or shouldn’t be. Need to try again with a different approach. Notes felt surpressed.

Don’t have much experience with wines in the Clarete style, but I need to get more! Appearance is that of a dark Rosé, more of a salmon color, fresh on the nose, with some light spice notes, hints of melon; palate is flavorful, plenty of acidity, some light but noticeably tannins, strawberries, honeydew, peppery spice notes again coming through on the finish. Quite interesting and delicious!
Slightly reductive, with a hint of smoke. Fruity (peach, raspberry), floral, and mineral on the palate. Very firm on the finish, would have thought of it as a wine from vulcanic soils if I had not known its origin at the time of tasting. I will keep my remaining bottles for a couple of years for added complexity, but it is really delicious already. Make sure not to serve it too chilled: 12 - 15 degrees C will do fine. Drink 2025 - 2030. 93+ points.

A field blend of 40% Tempranillo, 40% Albillo and 20% other varieties, including Bobal and Garnacha, which spends a year and a half in old French oak.
Pouring a beautiful salmon pink with an expressive nose with layers of fresh raspberry, melon, and peach skins interwoven with fresh herbs and a perfect touch of struck match reduction. Textural, fresh and refined on the palate which brings blood orange and rhubarb accents. Lovely long finish. A serious, delicious wine. Can drink now but no rush.
WSET notes:
Medium salmon.
Pronounced on the nose with melon, rhubarb, herbs, peach, fresh raspberry, nutmeg and struck match. Youthful.
Pronounced and dry on the palate with blood orange coming through. High acidity, medium body, high alcohol, low tannins, long finish.
Can drink now but has potential for ageing.

A briny hint, orange, parfume, rubber, raspberries, herbs. Got a slight orange wine vibe to it. At the same time I thought to myself "if I had this in a black glass I could've taken this for a better Tenerife white" and I mean this in a good way.
