Tuesday, May 2, 2023 - App: medium ruby.
Nose: medium intensity. Aromas of sour pickled cucumber, ripe dark cherry, red plum, violet, cinnamon and sweet spices, quite fruit forward. It’s developing.
Palate: dry, high acidity, medium tannins with fine and smooth texture, high alcohol, medium plus body, medium plus flavour intensity, red plum, chocolate, hawthorn. medium plus finish.
Very good new world wine. Fruity, intense with some complexity. The alcohol is a little high esp on the palate but still balanced by the acidity and depth of fruits. Some stalks seem to be included to add a little freshness.
